Strip Club Etiquette: Following Nightclub Rules to Avoid any Trouble

Being the third largest city in Australia, one can be sure to find all kinds of fun in Brisbane. For men looking to have fun in this urban centre, there are lots of strip clubs brisbane that you can check out. Surely, you won’t run out of ideas for a fun night in town.

If you’re new to the clubbing scene though, you have to know certain rules to help you maximise your enjoyment while in the company of topless women.

Strip club etiquette 101

A gentleman’s club is filled with beautiful women who wear little to no clothing. Naturally, all kinds of men will flock these places to enjoy the company of these sultry ladies. So, yes, you can say that a strip club is like a temple. And just like any temple, there are rules and regulations that every patron MUST follow at all times.

  • DO NOT get distracted.

You’re in the club to be entertained by the dancers, so stop texting on your phone. Put your mobile phone away while a lovely woman is dancing in front of you. You’re paying for their time. Make the most of it.

  • DO NOT take pictures.

Not only is recording or taking pictures of the strippers wrong, it’s downright illegal. In many countries, it’s a Class A offense that could get you in trouble with the authorities. Appreciate the scantily clad women in front of you, but never take pictures of them without their consent.

  • DO NOT display inappropriate behaviour.

Touching or, worse, groping the dancers is prohibited in many strip clubs in Brisbane. So yeah, you can look but you can’t touch.

Aside from that, forcing them to touch you inappropriately is just as wrong. If you don’t want to be kicked out of the nightclub, better behave yourself.

  • DO NOT be a scene-stealer.

So, you and your girlfriend find it adventurous and entertaining to go to a strip club. That’s alright. It can do well for your relationship. But what’s not right is when your girlfriend starts grinding on you as if she’s one of the dancers. You’re there for the show, remember? You can do your business in the privacy of your home.

  • DO give tips.

If you like what you see, be generous and give the nice lady a tip. She beat up her body just to give the audience a world-class performance and give them the time of their life.

  • DO respect the dancers.

Aside from behaving yourself in strip clubs in Brisbane, you should respect women, whether they are clothed or not. If a dancer refuses a dinner date invitation after her shift, don’t take it as an insult. Strippers have a life outside the club, too.

Have all the fun you can get when at a gentlemen’s club. Just keep in mind to be respectful to the dancers, as well as to other patrons to ensure you don’t get in trouble.
